Film Grading & Colouring

The DPX files produced from the Scanity are then picked up in Nucoda Grading suites for final grade during which the chrominance and luminance will be adjusted to produce a fully graded set of DPX files.

Our high end software allows us significant visual alterations since you can not only affect the tone of an entire frame, but adjust single colours, tones, shadow areas, or static (or keyframed) shapes so you can use advanced coping to apply an advanced composited correction effect to some subset of a frame or scene. Colour grading is the process of altering and enhancing the colour of a motion picture, video image, or still image either electronically, photo-chemically or digitally.
