Sales Manager for Film Restoration & Archive Studio - NOW FILLED!

We’re searching for an exceptional sales-focused person to join us as a dynamic Sales Manager.  We're working on a worldwide mission to restore film to its former glory & update the medium for a new digital audience and to archive our cultural heritage... We want to you to come on this journey and help shape and drive our forward sales strategy.

The Sales Manager role will support and help deliver our aims to grow this exciting new company.  You need to be self-motivated, hardworking and results-led, with the ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships.

You need to be:

•    Results-driven with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
•    A competent communicator with great presentation skills
•    Business and market aware
•    Experienced in sales management and have the initiative to set and exceed your targets
•    Analytical and a problem-solver (the world’s not perfect but we’re making it better)
•    Exceptionally well-organised and able to manage your time effectively
•    Comfortable being both client-facing and office based; this isn’t 9-5 behind a desk
•    A strong networker with a good personal brand
•    A collaborator / team player; there’s a whole production department behind you
•    Able to work to deadlines, often under pressure, and be accountable if they slip

The ROLE

You will take responsibility for generating new business, maintaining existing relationships as well as for the successful performance of the company against yearly projections and growth expectations, set by agreement. If we’re right for each other then we’ll be expecting you to seek out sales opportunities by identifying customer requirements, defining new and existing markets, forecasting projected business, establishing market share among varied film content commercial and consumer owners.

The CANDIDATE

Our Sales Manager is a new position and we think you’re probably going to have relevant media or creative sales experience under your belt; but don’t let that deter you if you think you have transferable experience plus the energy and the determination to give it a go.

You’ll have experience dealing with senior stakeholders (internal and external) and will also have an advanced knowledge of Excel and be familiar with CRM systems. You need to know your KPIs from your ROIs and be a strong communicator with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and licensees, and ideally will also have some understanding of, or interest in, the technical aspects of film and digital materials.  It’s vital you have experience of dealing with leads from email marketing sources, paid marketing leads and enquiry prospecting, along with a good grasp of the sales essentials; Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and of course have charm in limitless quantities.
