R3store are delighted to be supporting The London Screen Heritage Conference

The Screen Heritage Conference is a meeting of archivists, academics, researchers and archive film professionals from across the UK.

Join London's Screen Archives and reflect on their ground-breaking three-year Heritage Lottery funded project, London: A Bigger Picture. Bringing together collaborators and partners, the conference will explore the implications of this project for the future of film archives.

Sessions will include:

- The challenges of collecting across a network of partners

- The ethics of collecting in the digital age

- Archive audience outreach and development

- Diversity in the industry, and training the next generation of archivists

Speakers will include:

The London's Screen Archives team, Sharon Ament (Director of Museum of London), Adrian Wootton OBE (CEO of Film London and the British Film Commission), Geoff Pick (Director of London Metropolitan Archives), Clare Watson (Media Archive for Central England), Tony Dowmunt (London Community Video Archive), Rachel Wang (Chocolate Films) and Francis Jones (Northern Ireland Screen).

Our very own Jo Griffin will be in attendance, drop us a note if you want to arrange a time for a chat.

It should be a fascinating day – make sure you buy your ticket soon!
