Scanning Picture & Audio

We use state of the art equipment, the Scanity HDR, which allows us to scan to 2k and 4k DPX files. During the scanning process the chrominance and luminance will be set to ensure that each DPX file will conform to the required limits of luminance and that any obvious colour casts will be corrected. As the picture scanning takes place in real-time it is possible to ingest the audio from a combined optical, a combined magnetic, or a separate magnetic track simultaneously to the film transfer; separate optical tracks would need to be ingested subsequently. All audio captures will be presented as 48 kHz, 24-bit WAV files or to suit any client required format.
